The equine world is steeped in prestige and history, so it’s important that you work with a specialist company that understands the industry.

As tempting as it may be to work with the cheapest company you find, do you really want a sub-standard website? After all, your clients are judging you on your appearance.

Your logo, website, and printed marketing materials all need to define you as a company. They need to help you stand out from the crowd. They’re often the difference between making the sale, and loosing it.

Here are 3 reasons why you should work with a specialist creative agency like us:

1. Understand the Industry

Specialist equine agencies come with specialist knowledge of the industry. We know the ins and outs of the market, we know the history, and we know what works. We take the time to understand your position within the equestrian world and how we can work with you to create a winning design.

We know it’s not always about the flashiest, most colourful designs. We know that simple can often speak volumes, and we know how we can portray your company in the best possible light. We understand the industry, and can help you leave your mark.

2. Know Your Audience

Because we know so much about the equine industry, we completely understand your audience. We know what they like, what they don’t, and what they want from you. Whether that’s a specialist stable, quality horse feed, or high quality clothing. This ensures that all the work we do for you is targeted at your audience. We know how to grab their attention, and more importantly how to keep them coming back for more.

3. Experienced

Above all we have a wealth of experience designing for the equine community. We’ve worked with some of the biggest and the best names in the industry, so you know you can trust us. Our industry knowledge and expertise has equipped us with the skills to make your next project stand out from the crowd.

If you still need convincing we’re the agency for you, click here to send us an email and find out more.

The horse, with odds of 10/1, was given a patient ride and won by two and a quarter length in last week’s nerve-racking finale.

One of the most widely recognised and respected titles in national hunt racing, the Gold Cup takes place on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival.

This was the first time Jonjo had won the prestigious cup as a trainer. He has however lifted the trophy twice before s a jockey – once aboard Alverton in 1979, and one again in 1998 on Dawn Run.

Synchronised, ridden by champion jockey AP McCoy, came from the back to win the race in spectacular fashion. With the race favourites being Long Run and Kauto Star, Synchronised and Jonjo’s victory was made all the more sweeter:

Our MD Craig was lucky enough to be invited to the Winner’s Celebration Breakfast on Saturday, attended also by AP and Jonjo. Here are a few pictures from the event:

If you’re not already using Twitter you’re missing out on a huge opportunity. Here’s why Twitter is more than just another social networking site, and how it can work for you equine business:

Networking

Not only is networking a great way to increase awareness of your business, it is a great way to make an impact in the equestrian world. With business for many relying on referrals and recommendations, joining conversations on Twitter is a great way to make people aware of you.

There are plenty of important industry figureheads using Twitter regularly such as the Racing Post, Jamie Osborne, and your equine business should be one of them. A great way to do this is to join specific Twitter chats and post to relevant hashtags.

Increasing Enquiries

Like a well designed website and great marketing campaign, your Twitter page can increase the number of enquiries you receive. As you build up Twitter relationships, the content shared from your website will generate interest and hopefully result in enquires and sales. If the links you post on Twitter are high quality and relevant, they are much more likely to be ReTweeted and shared by your followers.

Reputation Management

If you’re not using Twitter, you can’t see what your peers and customers are saying about you on there. This can be both positive and negative but either way it’s important you maintain a visible presence to manage your reputation.

By solving any issues as soon as they arise, you can avoid a potential PR disaster. Likewise, replying to positive messages and thanking customers for their support will increase the trust in your brand. This is a really simple but effective way to make Twitter work for you.

You don’t have to be a computer expert to make Twitter work for your equine business. If you’re stuck for ideas on how it can be beneficial for you, contact us today.

Getting your equine business online is a major step in growing your business and increasing your potential reach. But did you know you could be doing more harm than good with woeful website design?

As specialists in equestrian website design, we’ve seen it all. And to help you out, we’ve compiled a list of five reasons why you need a new website to help boost business:

• Naff Navigation - How many times have you left a website because you couldn’t find what you were looking for? While a highly creative and flashy website may LOOK good, if your navigation is naff – site visitors will leave and won’t come back

• Dreadful Design – A poorly designed website can be as much of a turn off as an overly complicated one. Your website needs to reflect you as a business so a professional layout and clear branding is vital.

• Clashing Colours – Part of your design elements, over complicating your website colour scheme is a sign you need a new site. The colour scheme should be simple, complimentary and reflective of your business.

• Tiny Typography – Another reason people leave your website, and a sign you need a new one, is if your font is too small to see. People are impatient and if they can’t view your site properly, they will go elsewhere. The same goes for overly an large font – no one likes to be shouted at.

• Missing Marketing – You may have the design nailed, but if your online marketing and SEO efforts are missing, the website won’t be doing its job. If your marketing is missing, a brand new website can make it easier to get your campaigns back in order.

If your current website is guilty of any of these web design sins, our professional equestrian web design service can help. Our creative graphic designers and expert web developers can work with you to transform your website from drab to fab.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of the brand new website for racehorse trainer, Kevin Ryan. One of the most widely known and respected figures in the racing world, Kevin wanted to bring himself to the fore and showcase his unique facilities online.

The project was a collaboration between our creative graphic designers and expert web developers, and has been designed with the equine community in mind. Kevin wanted a website that details his unique training facilities, picturesque location, and raised both his profile and the number of enquiries received.

With a sizable yard situated in the idyllic Yorkshire location of the Hambleton Hills, Kevin has been training horses since 1998. His expert facilities are equipped with gallops, horse walkers, an equine spa, and a specially designed equine treadmill.

To anyone in the know, Hambleton is steeped in racing prestige. The nearby racecourse was hugely popular in the seventeenth century, and the natural plateau makes it the perfect location for racehorse training.

A unique feature of this new website is the video on the homepage. This short clip shows the training facilities in all their glory, and provides a virtual tour for prospective owners. The easy-to-navigate website is perfectly suited to even the most novice of internet users.
